Map the complete court group

Include playing lines, run-off space, fences, gates and seating. For converted courts, document the new arrangement rather than relying on the old lighting plan.

Examine glare from both ends

Players face different directions as play changes. Review fixture locations and aiming from the baseline and non-volley zone, with attention to high balls and visible light sources.

Coordinate the operating plan

Discuss timers, scheduled dimming or shutoff, and separate court zones. Check local requirements and property boundaries before finalizing fixture selection.

Common questions

Can we keep the old tennis lighting?

Review the converted court geometry, actual fixture data and condition. Existing lighting may need a revised layout or aiming plan.
